Sofia Verzbolovskis is a Panamanian photographer based in New York. After graduating from NYU in 2009, she travelled to Accra, Ghana as a volunteer in a local school. While in Ghana, Sofia began to focus on photography. She returned to New York to attend a Photojournalism program at the International Center of Photography (2010-2011). Her photos have been published in Musée Magazine, Huffington Post, Jungles in Paris, La Prensa, Variety, Jocks and Nerds, among other publications.

She had her first solo exhibition, Diablos Rojos: Fin de una era, at El Taller Latino Americano in New York in September of 2012. This show travelled to Allegro Gallery in Panama where it was on display from June to July 2013. She has been selected to participate in several exhibits with her mobile photography, namely the Head On Photo Festival in Australia and at the Woodstock Center for Photography in NY. Sofia was selected for the Biennal of the Central American Isthmus (BAVIC 9) for her work on the city of Colon, which was held in Guatemala in August 2014. This series was later exhibited in Panama at the Centro Cultural de España and more recently, at La Alianza Francesa in October 2015.
